Which rebate programs are currently available?
2024 Enbridge HER Rebates Program Updates
- The popular Enbridge Home Efficiency Rebate (HER) is back starting Monday July 15th, 2024.
- There are many ways to participate, and you need to meet at least two or more of the following measures to qualify for the grant.
- The maximum allowance per home is $5,000 for all measures taken.
- Up to $600 is available as a rebate towards the costs of an energy assessment, which is still required for validation purposes
Enbridge Smart Savings
- Get up to $5,000 in rebates for insulation, air sealing, new windows/doors, water heaters, boilers, furnaces and home energy assessments.
Manufacturer Rebates
- Throughout the year, several manufacturer rebates on furnaces, AC units, and other home comfort upgrades.

Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program
- Up to $10,000 Available to switch from oil heating to energy-efficient heat pumps.
- Proof of 500 litres of oil used in the past 12 months qualifies you, and the low-to-median income threshold has been adjusted for inflation.
- The program now includes a broader range of eligible heat pumps, such as air source and ground source models.
- Funds are provided in advance of paying for costs related to installation and upgrades, including electrical work, oil tank removal, and additional heating systems.
